Papel, derived from the Spanish word for paper, aimed to revolutionize the market by offering water in a plastic-free format, first time in India. The main USP lies in offering sustainable water, elegantly presented in Prisma Tetra Pak that is made up of 68 % plant based renewable material.

The brand Papel stands for a planet friendly mission and strives to inculcate a responsible outlook on the social impact of our consumption patterns. The Big Idea is to bring about a change. The brand has a defined sustainable mission that had to get reflected in its design language.

The Visual Identity

From the choice of the benevolent pastel blue shade to the black capturing the “here to make an impact” attitude to the forms of the logo identity, everything depicts planet friendliness at its core.

Clever Packaging Copy

The primary hurdle was the regulatory restriction on the use of the term "water" in any non-transparent context. However, through a clever combination of captivating copy and carefully chosen typography, the design effectively communicates the potential for water to bring about positive change.

By the creative use of the term "Whatever" in our design cleverly read as "WATER", we sent out a powerful message— here’s a water brand determined to be the catalyst for change.

The minimalist design style

With a minimalistic approach, we targeted the discerning upmarket audience, resonating with their values of sustainability and quality. The brand’s sustainable mission is reflected well in its design language. Engaging the Conscious Consumer

To connect with the new age millennial, who actively seeks ways to contribute to the environment, we incorporated the hashtag #DrinkTheChange directly on the packaging.
